Youth memories

Recipe ingredients:

(for 4 people)

8 slices of white bread wide 5 cm x 12 cm and 3 mm thick
4 thin slices of Emmental cheese d.o.p. of the same size of the bread sheets
12 slices of bacon of Piacenza d.o.p.
10 g of wildflower honey
4 pieces of sweet and sour red peppers 

Preparation:

Press peppers between two sheets of absorbent paper to remove excess moisture, then cut to obtain 4 slices as big as those of bread, then uniform of thickness. Toast the bread slices on a sandwiches griller and then cool them, then spread honey on 4 of them. On each tosasted bread, spreaded with honey, place in succession two slices of bacon of Piacenza, a slice of pepper, a slice of Emmental cheese, a slice of bacon of Piacenza again and then a bread slice.

Presentation:

Cut each preparation into 8 equal parts to obtain 32 pieces, then put a time 4 pieces on wood sticks as a skewer.
